Leadership Team

Benita joined Nuseed in 2016 and leads the Aquaterra® team. Her experience directing the commercialization of two early-stage health care companies prepared her to this create cross functional team and develop new markets for this novel technology. Benita holds an MBA Thunderbird and degrees in finance and marketing from Colorado State University.

Malcolm has directed the technological development of Aquaterra® since 2010. He is a global leader in plant science with research and licensing experience in corporate, governmental, and university environments. Malcolm studied Agricultural Chemistry at University of Glasgow, UK and earned his Master of Science and PhD in Plant Science at University of Guelph, Canada.

Pablo’s extensive knowledge of salmon farming in Chile and Norway supports role educating farmers and production companies about Aquaterra®. His passion for fish welfare and improving ocean environments inspire his work. Pablo holds degrees in aquaculture engineering, including an MSC in Aquaculture: Intensive Fish Farming from the Agricultural University of Norway.

Clint leads the global supply team, which produces and processes Nuseed Omega-3 Canola into Aquaterra® and ships to customers around the world. His experience with large-scale oilseed processing provided the knowledge and network to build the Aquaterra Value Chain from scratch. Clint’s received his education at Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia.

June leads the biotech regulatory team at Nuseed to obtain omega-3 canola product approvals in both production and consumption markets globally. She’s driven each day to overcome regulatory hurdles and enable business freedom to operate, so growers and consumers can benefit from the technology as early as possible. June completed her PhD in microbiology from China Agricultural University.

Katrina leads sustainability and communications strategies for Aquaterra®. She brings expertise in creating brands for conscientious consumers and was drawn to Nuseed’s leadership in applying biotechnology to solve environmental challenges. Katrina earned her literature degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
